A Business Born of Being a Mom.  

There’s a lot to think about when you’re pregnant and on bed rest.  I wondered how many mothers out there were feeling just like me.

Meet Lindsay Rubalcaba, Founder of New Mommy Helper

The idea for New Mommy Helper was born while I was on bed rest during my last trimester.  Unfortunately, my mind didn’t relax for a moment! It was swirling with chores and errands I couldn’t get done. To distract myself, I researched every baby product imaginable. And I bought a lot of ‘em—way too much! 

I could kick myself when I think of how much money we could have saved by making better choices and multi-purposing. So many other new moms have said the same thing; if they had only known what they really needed before they went out on those baby-buying sprees! 

That was the first spark.

I had always known I wanted to be in a profession that helped others. I’m just one of those people who likes doing things for others. My friends call me their “go-to gal.” I also always wanted my own business, but couldn’t quite put my finger on something I was really passionate about.  About a year after my son was born, I had my AHA! moment.

I love being a mom!

There it was; the big spark! What if I could merge that passion with my creativity? Ten years in advertising had made me resourceful, organized and a terrific problem-solver. Could I apply those skills to the satisfaction I get from helping others?

What if I’m the go-to gal for new moms?

And there you have it. A business born of being a mom! I so hope your new baby brings you the incredible joy I have experienced…with a bit less stress and frustration.  I look forward to providing you with the understanding and support of someone who really gets the business of being a mom.
